ARCTIC Freezer 36-S – High-Performance Tower CPU Cooler

P12 Pro Fan with Up to 3000 RPM

The Freezer 36-S is equipped with a high-performance ARCTIC P12 Pro 120mm PWM fan, designed to provide strong airflow and high static pressure across the heatsink. The fan operates between 600 and 3000 RPM and can completely stop below 5% PWM, allowing the system to reduce fan noise during very light workloads. At maximum speed, the P12 Pro produces up to 77 CFM of airflow and 6.9 mmH₂O static pressure, providing substantial airflow through the aluminium fin stack. The fan uses a Fluid Dynamic Bearing and connects through a standard 4-pin PWM connector, allowing compatible motherboards to automatically regulate fan speed according to CPU temperature and system load.

Direct Touch Copper Heatpipes

ARCTIC uses a Direct Touch heatpipe design in the Freezer 36-S, placing four 6mm copper heatpipes directly against the CPU contact area. This eliminates an additional layer between the processor and the heatpipes, helping heat move efficiently away from the CPU. The heatpipes transfer thermal energy into the cooler's 54 aluminium fins, where the P12 Pro fan forces air through the fin stack. The staggered heatpipe arrangement helps distribute heat across the available cooling surface rather than concentrating it in one area.
