Windows Installation Service

Our Windows Installation Service is designed for customers who need a fresh installation of the Windows operating system on a compatible PC or laptop. Whether you are setting up a new computer, rebuilding an existing system, replacing a storage drive or reinstalling Windows after a system issue, we can install and configure the operating system so that your device is ready for the next stage of setup. The service covers the installation of Windows on your device, but it does not include a Windows licence or product key. A valid licence is required to activate Windows, and this can either be provided by the customer or purchased separately from CompHub.

What Is Included in the Windows Installation Service?

The Windows Installation Service includes the installation of the Windows operating system on a compatible device. We prepare the system for installation and complete the basic Windows setup required for the operating system to start correctly. This service is suitable for desktop PCs and compatible laptops that require a fresh Windows installation. The service is focused specifically on installing the operating system and does not automatically include additional services such as advanced BIOS configuration, extensive software installation, data recovery or hardware repairs. If additional setup or troubleshooting is required, these services may need to be added separately.

Windows Licence Is Not Included

Please note that the Windows licence is not included with the Windows Installation Service. The service covers the installation of the operating system only. If you already own a valid Windows licence or product key, it can be used to activate the operating system where applicable. Alternatively, a genuine Windows licence can be purchased separately through CompHub. The available licence options are Windows Home for €69.99 and Windows Pro for €89.99. The licence cost is separate from the Windows installation service and must be added to your order if you require a new licence.

Windows Home or Windows Pro?

Windows Home is suitable for most everyday users, including customers who use their computer for gaming, browsing, entertainment, study and general work. Windows Pro includes additional business and professional features that may be useful for users who require more advanced management, security or workplace functionality. The correct version depends on how you plan to use your computer and the features you require. If you are unsure which version is suitable for your needs, you can choose the appropriate licence separately before the installation is completed. The installation service can be used with either Windows Home or Windows Pro, provided that a valid licence is available for activation.

When Is a Fresh Windows Installation Useful?

A fresh installation of Windows can be useful when building a new PC, replacing a storage drive, upgrading major hardware or preparing a computer for a clean start. It may also be appropriate when an existing Windows installation has software problems or other issues that cannot be resolved through normal troubleshooting. A clean installation provides a new operating system environment without relying on the previous Windows setup. Before requesting a fresh installation on a device containing important files, customers should ensure that any required data has been backed up, as installing or reinstalling Windows may require changes to the existing storage configuration. Data backup, transfer and recovery are not included unless arranged as separate services.

What Is Not Included?

The Windows Installation Service does not include a Windows licence or product key, as licences are purchased separately. It also does not automatically include advanced BIOS configuration, professional software installation, data transfer, data recovery, hardware repairs, replacement components or extensive troubleshooting of existing system faults. Additional applications and specialised configuration can be requested as separate services where available. We do not install unauthorised, cracked or illegally obtained versions of Windows or other software. A valid Windows licence must be provided by the customer or purchased separately if activation is required.
