The Razer Basilisk V3 is an advanced wired gaming mouse designed for players who want precise tracking, extensive customisation and an ergonomic right-handed design. At its core is the Razer Focus+ 26K DPI optical sensor, capable of up to 26,000 DPI, with tracking performance of up to 650 IPS and 50G acceleration. Focus+ 26K DPI Optical Sensor

The Basilisk V3 uses the Razer Focus+ 26K DPI optical sensor for highly detailed and responsive tracking. It supports sensitivity of up to 26,000 DPI, together with speeds of up to 650 IPS and acceleration of up to 50G. The sensor also provides advanced lift-off and landing distance adjustment through Razer Synapse, allowing the tracking behaviour to be customised to individual preferences. Multiple sensitivity stages can be configured for different games and applications, making it possible to quickly switch between precise low-sensitivity control and faster cursor movement. 10+1 Programmable Buttons and HyperScroll Wheel

The 10+1 programmable button layout gives the Basilisk V3 extensive control without requiring keyboard shortcuts for every action. The buttons can be configured through Razer Synapse for macros, game commands, push-to-talk and other functions. The mouse also features the Razer HyperScroll Tilt Wheel, which supports four-way scrolling and electronically actuated notched and free-spinning modes. This allows the wheel to provide controlled tactile scrolling when precision is required or rapid free-spinning movement when navigating long documents and menus. A multifunction trigger positioned alongside the thumb area adds another easily accessible input for gaming and custom commands.

Gen-2 Optical Mouse Switches

For fast and consistent button input, the Basilisk V3 uses Razer Optical Mouse Switches Gen-2. These switches are designed for a rapid 0.2 ms actuation speed and are rated for up to 70 million clicks. Optical switching eliminates the traditional mechanical contact used by conventional mouse switches, providing responsive actuation and helping reduce the possibility of unintended double-clicking caused by physical contact degradation. Combined with the high-performance optical sensor, the switches give the Basilisk V3 a responsive control system suited to games where quick and deliberate inputs are important.

Razer Chroma RGB and Onboard Profiles

The Basilisk V3 features 11 individually programmable Razer Chroma RGB lighting zones, including illuminated areas across the mouse and its underglow. Chroma lighting supports more than 16.8 million colours and a wide range of lighting effects, with dynamic integration available in compatible games and applications. The mouse also includes five onboard memory profiles, allowing customised settings to be stored directly on the device. Profiles can include button configurations and sensitivity settings, making it easier to move between different games or systems without recreating the same setup every time.

Ergonomic Right-Handed Design

Designed specifically for right-handed users, the Basilisk V3 features an ergonomic shape with an integrated thumb rest and textured rubber grips for additional control. The mouse measures approximately 130 × 75 × 42.5 mm and weighs around 101 g excluding the cable. Its 100% PTFE mouse feet are designed to provide smooth movement across compatible surfaces, while the Razer Speedflex cable is designed to minimise drag during movement.
